David Wayne Martindale, 70, of Columbia, SC, passed away at home peacefully with his family by his side on February 10, 2025. He was born in Fort Meade, Maryland, and was the son of the late John H. Martindale and Queen E. Martindale. 

David is survived by his brothers, John H. Martindale, Jr. (Evelyn) of Calhoun, GA, Keith D. Martindale of Chesnee, SC, Phillip A. Martindale of Columbia, SC; sister, Lisa Rene Busbee (Len) of Lexington, SC; and many loving nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents, David was also predeceased by two sisters, Theresa L. Darnell and Donna G. Roof.

A Celebration of Life Service for David will be held at 3PM, Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Elmwood Avenue Church of God, 1427 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
