Arlene Mary Mohs
August 17th, 1927 - February 8th, 2025
Arlene Mohs, age 97, born August 17, 1927, passed away on Saturday February 8, 2025. Arlene lived on Saint Paul’s East Side her entire life. She loved nothing more than family gatherings and celebrations. Her last few years were at The Gardens, ECH, in Saint Paul, where loving staff joked with, and cared for her. She died suddenly and peacefully in her own bed, as she wished. Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, ‘Mohs’, of 59 years; her parents, John and Bertha Petschauer; three sisters, Jeanne, Doris and Bernice; daughter Linda (Larson); son Brian; son-in-law Steve Larson; grandson Greg Mohs; and grand-babies, Warren and Christopher Austin. She is survived by her son, Erv Jr. (Sandy Tiemann); daughter Laurie (Rob Austin); her nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and, her two brothers, Richard and Tom. A private memorial service for the family will be held on Monday Feb 17. Private Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
