Donald Joseph Tilden
October 22nd, 1937 - January 5th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Joseph Tilden, aged 87, of Laporte, Indiana, who passed away on January 5, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Donald was born on October 22, 1937, to Miles and Sylvia Tilden.
Donald worked for Landscaping Enterprise, Bella Giardino, and was the proud owner of Dons Handyman Services in Colorado Springs, where he dedicated many years to serving his community.
Donald was a beloved Husband, Father, Uncle and Grandfather he is preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Sylvia Tilden, as well as 10 of his siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn De Santiago Tilden; children, Angelina Brandy Velasquez, Pablo De Santiago, June Kidd, Joe Jacquez, and Libby Munoz; 4 nephews; 3 nieces; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A burial service will be held on March 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, followed by a reception at the Hill Side Community Center.
Donald’s family and friends will forever remember him for his love, hard work, dedication, and the positive impact he made in their lives. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
