James Hubbard
October 11th, 1931 - February 10th, 2025
James Byron Hubbard. 93 passed away in Lady Lake, Fl. 2/10/2025. James was born in Wilkensburg, PA. To Albert and Mary Margaret Hubbard on 10/11/1931.
He graduated from Carnegie Tech and The University of Kansas. He loved those Jayhawks. He married Joan Hubbard on 5/22/1977 in Westlake, Ohio. He worked for over 30 years as an Artist and Picture Framer in Westlake, Ohio. He was a Veteran of the Air Force as a Lieutenant between the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was involved in Westlake Kiwanis, the Westlake Tree commission and Toast Masters. He enjoyed Painting, drawing and picture framing. His favorite was to draw and paint his trees.
James is preceded in death by Joan A. Hubbard and Sonya M. Hubbard.
He is survived by his children Mark (Patty), Cynthia(Clayton, dec’d), and William Hubbard. His grandchildren Melissa(Jon), Christina and Michael(Katey Metz). Great Grandchildren Beckham, James and Vance.
Funeral Services will be on Monday February 17, 2025 at Bushnell National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice.
