Salvatore Joseph Gandolfo III

Salvatore Joseph Gandolfo, III (Sal), 67, passed away on February 11, 2025. He was a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Sal was born on November 25, 1957, in The Bronx, NY. He was the son of the late Salvatore Joseph Gandolfo, Jr. and Esther Vargas Gandolfo.

Sal was a caring father and cherished family man whose vibrant energy and infectious spirit brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. His love for his family and friends was boundless, and he built lasting connections wherever he went. Ultimately, the lake became his true home, where he found peace and forged deep friendships with those who loved him in return. Sal had a passion for racing his dragster, playing the drums, and riding his motorcycle, embracing life with enthusiasm and adventure.

Salvatore is survived by his loving wife, Seaneen Gandolfo, his children, Rocky Lee (Jennifer) of Summerville, SC, Stephanie Coffman (Billy) of Goose Creek, SC, Salvatore Anthony Gandolfo (Christina) of Goose Creek, SC, stepdaughter, Sara Turner of Cross, SC, his grandchildren, Graeson, Vega, Mason, Emery, Melody, and Adalyn Jo, his sister, Madeline Crescenzo, his brother, Dean Gandolfo, and many family members. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Besides his parents, Salvatore was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Gandolfo Moore, and his brother, Ralph Gandolfo. And many beloved friends.

A private celebration will be held for family and close friends.
