Ronald Jennings

Ronald David Jennings was born on April 5, 1973, on the island of Bahrain in the Persian Gulf, to US Navy Senior Chief William J. and Mary L. Jennings. On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Ron passed away at the age of 51.

He is survived by two brothers: William Michael and Joseph Gregory Jennings, their wives Mary and Sherry; the nieces and nephews: Alex, Katie, Connor, Brandi and her son Grayson and Andrew Jennings; and, his special Aunt Vera Valadez and her sons Ray & Paul from California. Ron graduated from Manzano High School in 1991 and attended classes at the University of New Mexico. He attained his “A+” (Plus) certification from CompTIA. He had a deep love of photography and music, reflected in his skillful guitar play and affinity for taking pictures of the beautiful New Mexico skyline. Ron was exceptionally proud of being accepted as an Information Technology specialist under the employ of Edgewater Federal Solutions Inc. for the past 12 years. He attained and maintained a “Q” Security Clearance and took his role in support of Sandia National Laboratories, the Department of Energy and the United States very seriously. 

A nondenominational Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at Riverside Funeral Home, located at 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM at 2:00pm.
