In Memory of Anthony W. Nelson

Anthony “Tony” Nelson was born on May 6, 1974, in Ortonville, Minnesota. He was the son of Bill and Deb (Folk) Nelson. 

Tony grew up near the Ortonville, Minnesota and Saint Paul, Minnesota area. He attended and graduated from Roseville High School with the class of 1992. After graduation, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Montana. 

Tony spent the summers working at his grandparents' farm. He thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent on the tractor. He loved the outdoors, especially full hunting season. He also enjoyed spending time at the gym working out. 

Tony relocated to Alaska, where he was united in marriage with Jasmine Stewart. They later divorced. He entered a relationship with Mary Scudero in which they were blessed with two children, Ryland and Brynleigh. His children were his pride and joy. He adored his children and considered them the best thing he ever did. Tony also attended the MN Adult Teen Challenge long term in Rochester and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Tony is survived by his parents, Bill and Deb Nelson of Saint Paul, Minnesota; two children Ryland and Brynleigh Nelson of Saint Paul, Minnesota; brother Ryan Nelson of Saint Paul, Minnesota; uncles Randy (Marilyn) Folk of Milbank, South Dakota; Nick (Sara) Folk of Clear Lake, Minnesota; Scott Folk of Milbank, South Dakota; Kevin Radenmacher of Bellingham, Minnesota; John (Dee) Nelson of Florida; Donald (Maggie) Nelson; Aunts: Denise Kasuske of Milbank, South Dakota; Heather Folk of Milbank, South Dakota; Karen (Rob) of Colorado; as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents: Albert and Lucille Folk; Gene and Jean Nelson; Uncle Sam Folk; and Aunt Peggy Rademacher.
