Nancy Lee Hale Clausel was called home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2025.  Nancy was born on April 7, 1951, in Sullivan County, TN.  She lived a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion; she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. 

Nancy graduated from Ketron High School in 1969, and she lived her life with unwavering faith; always sharing the love of the Lord with others.  She was a woman of deep devotion and believed strongly in walking with God on a daily basis.  Her faith guided her through life, and she was a constant source of strength and love to her family and friends. 

In addition to her love for her family, she enjoyed spending her time outdoors, where she found peace and beauty in nature.  She also loved drawing and writing poetry, as she had several poems published. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Doris Hale; brother, “Bobby” Robert Hale Jr.; sisters, Linda Stratton and husband Leon, Ada Bush and husband, AL; sister-in-law, Penny Martin; and grandson, Patrick Gaines III.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years, Gary Clausel; one son, Bubba Clausel and wife, Leah; three daughters, Elizabeth “Edie”, Sara Lawson, and Kelly Glover and husband, Chip; 12 grandkids, Dustin McAbee and wife, Nikki, Shelbie McAbee, Brianna Gaines, Wayne Clausel, Isaac Call, Derrick Brown, Messer Clausel, Jacob Lawson, Kellen Brown, Guss Clausel, Raylan Lawson, and Jalee Brown; three great grandkids, Aubree McAbee, Asher Gaines, and Hazel Coleman; sister, Dinah Neeley; two sisters-in-law, Kay Clausel, and Becky DiBiasi; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. 

A celebration of life service will be held on a later date.
