Stephanie Dawn Sanchez

Stephanie Dawn Sanchez, age 55 passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born February 17, 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Steven and Dorothy Sanchez. She was a 1987 graduate of Highland High School (Hornets). She worked with Sandia National Laboratories for more than 20yrs. Stephanie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; cooking and entertaining for her friends and family, spending time with her grandbabies, Hunter and Oakley and volunteering her time for special events, charities and those in need. Stephanie had a magical ability to reach everyone she met in a deep, meaningful and positive way. She will be dearly missed by many.Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Steven Sanchez and nephew, Jaden Garcia. She is survived by her son, Zebadiah Montoya-Sanchez: her granddaughters Hunter and Oakley, mother, Dorothy Sanchez, sister Jessica Garcia, brother-in-law, Jimmy Garcia, nephew, Jacob Garcia and her partner, Chris Bess. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 21st, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.,  followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl NE Albuquerque, NM 87108.
