Alice Butts Panter
November 16th, 1931 - February 13th, 2025
Alice Butts Panter, age 93, went to be with her heavenly father on February 13, 2025. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Mouzon family cemetery on Empire Rd., Kingstree, SC.
She was a sweet and gentle soul, and we will miss her dearly, but find comfort in knowing that she’s pain-free and at peace .She is predeceased by her children she loved & missed so very much, Johnny Mouzon (Alice), Ronnie Mouzon (Kitty), Cheryl Wood & Loretta Long. Her first husband, Johnny Presley Mouzon and second husband Jack Panter.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Roberts (Gary), Sally Dowding, Alice Fudge (David), and her daughter–of–the–heart, Phyllis Staton (Bob): Grandchildren, Melissa Mouzon, Ryan Roberts (Jenny), Kevin Roberts, James Harmon, Donna Gulledge (Jamie), Shanna Long, Allison Spake (Lanny), David Wood, Sarah Cooper; her niece Christy Humes (David) and their son Dillon; Great-grandchildren, Caleigh Spake, Rileigh Spake, Jack Roberts, Emma Roberts, Dawson Roberts, Alyssa Mouzon, Allen Smith, Edward McFadden, Reona Proctor, Racheal Proctor, Jeremy Proctor, Karmen Cooper & Lannie Cooper; Great-great grandchildren, Serenity Mouzon, Skylar Lott, Adaleyah Smith & Jayme Smith.
Thank you to all of the Caris Healthcare (hospice) staff for the amazing love and care that you showed to her.
