Colleen Rae Kellem
December 15th, 1951 - February 7th, 2025
Kellem, Colleen R., 73, of Tucson, AZ passed away February 7, 2025, after a long illness. She was born in Pasco, WA to Donald R., Sr. and Carol (Bjerke) Treloar. Colleen grew up in California and Alabama, and graduated from Custer High School, Custer, SD in 1970. She obtained her LPN and a Real Estate License in Rapid City, SD. Colleen was an old soul and was most happy outdoors. She moved on and developed a clientele as a landscape designer in Salt Lake City, UT for several years-one of her notable clients was the world-famous artist, Arnold Friberg. She moved to Tucson, AZ in 2002 where she remained until her passing.
Colleen will be remembered for her beautiful gardens, her love of family and friends and reading non-fiction books. Completing the New York Times Sunday crossword was her favorite pastime.
Colleen is survived by her mother, Carol McGarry (Fayetteville, TN); three sisters, Denise (Tim) Bowden (Centreville, VA), Pamela Nicol (Lufkin, TX), Donna Treloar (Tucson, AZ); two brothers, Ken (Elaine) McGarry (Fayetteville, TN), Gary Treloar (Rosebud, SD); and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Donald “Bud” R. Treloar, Sr.; Stepfather, Donald McGarry and brother, Donald R. Treloar, Jr.
