Frances "Fran" Adele Hull, Mrs.
March 7th, 1929 - January 28th, 2025
On January 28, 2025, Frances A. Hull passed peacefully in her sleep at the TenderCare Home in Denver, Colorado. Frances was 95 and was preceded in death by her husband Harry Hull. She is survived by one sister, Lois Houder, two daughters: Judy Vaz and Jo Anne Allen, her husband Ruben and two grandsons, Adam, daughter-in-law Emily and Alex Allen.
Frances (Fran) was born in Chadron, Nebraska in 1929 and graduated from Chadron State College in 1952 with a BA degree. While attending College she met Harry Hull, and they married in 1950. They later celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary together in 2022. In 1957 they moved to Alamosa where Harry became the Student Union Director at Adam State University. Two months after their move their 1st daughter, Judy, was born and their second daughter, Jo Anne, followed 18 months later. In 1963 Fran earned her MBA in Business from Adam State University. Frances worked for many years as the Business Manager for Acheson’s Attic Furniture Store, later retiring in 1990. In 2019 Fran and Harry moved to Denver to live closer to their daughter Jo Anne and lived at TenderCare Senior Home.
Fran was also very active in many organizations in Alamosa. She was very involved with the Alamosa Chapter of Easter Star, Current Events and worked with Girl Scouts. She was a life-long member of the 1st Church of Christ Scientists in Alamosa.
She enjoyed Bowling and participated in a Women’s Golf League for several years. She embroidered and played the piano. No services are planned at this time.
