Ella Josephine Snyder
April 27th, 1941 - February 5th, 2025
Ella "Jo" Josephine Snyder passed away on February 5, 2025 at age 83.
Born April 27, 1941 to Drury E. York and Mary Esta York in Wenatchee, Washington. Soon after she was born her family moved onto live in the quiet town of Soap Lake, Washington. While preparing to head off to college Jo met her future husband, Gerald "Jerry" Snyder, who passed away October 31, 2020.
They were married December 30, 1957. Soon after they moved to Seattle where Jo would attend and graduate from Edison Technical. Then she went to work as an office manage for a moving company for 30 years. After 30 years she went on to work for a surgeon’s office for 14 yrs and then retired. Even with her busy schedule she managed to raise 3 children and be involved with their sports, music and other activities.
Most of all, Jo loved her family. She really enjoyed her grandchildren and playing with her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 children, Jerry Snyder, Kelly Snyder Rath and Cathi Snyder; 5 grandchildren: Amber Rath (Joe), Michael Rath (Kirsti), Tessa Rath Ester (John) and Max Rath and Alec Sanchez Snyder; and 5 great grandchildren: Nora, Willa and Sienna Rath along with Leon and Jack Ester.
