John Fitzgerald Whitsell, Sr.
January 16th, 1962 - February 10th, 2025
John Whitsell, of Largo, Florida, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home, Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born, January 16, 1962, in Topeka, Kansas. He was the son of the late Frank Whitsell, Sr. and Jean Maxwell.
John attended Topeka High School. He served honorably in the United States Army.
He is survived by his son, John, Jr. of Largo, Florida, his brothers, Frank Whitsell, Jr. of Topeka and Keith Maxwell of Harbour Beach, Florida. He is also survived by his sister Angela Milne of Shawnee, Kansas.
John will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota County, Florida at a later date.
