Jesus Carlos Borquez, Sr.
January 20th, 1931 - February 6th, 2025
Jesus C Borquez Sr age 94 passed away peacefully in his home February 6, 2025. He was born in Esqueda Sonora, Mexico in 1931.
He married the love of his life Ana Maria Duron in Douglas, AZ who preceded him in death in 2014. They moved to San Manuel where they raised 4 sons - Chuy (Jamie ), Frank (Deanna ) who preceded him in death in 2019, Mario and Eddie who preceded them in death in 1979. He leaves behind 3 grandchildren , Jessica (Matt Dale ), Joseph and Nicole Borquez.
Great grandchildren-Celeste and Aryana Borquez, Cooper and Mia Dale , Frankie, Dominic , and Caleb Coronado.
Everyone knew him as Jesse. He worked for Magma Copper Company 31 years and retired in 1993. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union and served on their executive board.
He loved his family and lived life to the fullest. He was very proud of his Hispanic ethnicity and heritage which he defended on several occasions. He instilled this pride in his sons.
He was loved by his family and friends who will miss him very much. R. I.. P. Dad.
