Michael D. Lobato, age, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away on February 9,2025. He was born on September 7, 1966, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Michael was a devoted husband to Deanna Lobato and a loving father to Angel Schumann and her husband, Chris. He cherished his time with his family and his beloved dog, Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his father Andy Lobato and sister Janae Perez. He is survived by his mother Olivia Cutler and siblings Orlando, Randy (Daniel), Andre, Stella, Holly, and extended family.
For 24 years, Michael was a dedicated and honorable retiree of Walmart. He was a man of faith who loved God. In his free time, Michael enjoyed the outdoors, particularly camping and fishing. These activities brought him peace and joy.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Grand Junction, Colorado at a later date.
