Georgia Ann Grott

Georgia Ann Grott of Greeley, CO, passed away at the age of 78 on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
She was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on March 4, 1946, to Benjamin & Esther Dockhorn.
She was the youngest of three daughters.
The family moved to Northern Colorado in 1950, and she attended schools in the area, graduating from Greeley Central High School. This is where she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) A Grott, and they married at a young age on June 16, 1963.
Georgia worked at Greeley West High School for many years in the cafeteria, forming lasting relationships with her coworkers. After retiring, she was a caretaker for her mother, and eventually for her husband. She was a loved wife, mother, and caretaker.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents Bennie and Esther, and her two older sisters Bennie Lou and Harla. She is survived by her two children, Robin (Darren) Spinks, and Erin (Brian) Becker, and three grandchildren Preston, Allison, and Jayden.
