Mary "Cathy" Catherine Holt

Mary Catherine (Cathy) Holt June 29, 1959-January 30, 2022 Cathy Holt, age 62, passed away unexpectedly from complications due to an infection on Jan. 30th in Denver, CO. Born in San Diego, CA to Glen and Mary Holt, Cathy spent her childhood in Duluth, MN where she attended Cathedral HS and later St Scholastica College. She graduated with an RN degree and made nursing her lifelong career and passion. She started her career in the neonatal ICU of St.Marys Hospital until moving to Denver, CO in 1989 where she continued as a pediatric cardiac ICU nurse at Denver Children†™s Hospital. Cathy had an unparalleled work ethic, and her compassion for children was endless. She touched the lives of so many families in the selfless work that she did. She had a huge heart and dedicated her life to helping children. She was also an avid animal lover and was never without a cat or two in her life. She loved her local animal shelter and was looking forward to having more volunteer time when she retired. Cathy also had a passion for skiing and for the mountains of Colorado where she spent much of her off time. It was her special place. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, and we†™ve all been blessed to have had her in our lives. More information can be found online at Aspen Family Mortuary in Lakewood, CO.
