Robert Andrew Nolz

Bob Andrew Nolz, 64, of Molalla, Oregon, passed away on November 23, 2019. His Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on December 14, 2019, at Foothills Community Church in Molalla. Bob was born in Bellflower, California on July 17, 1955. He graduated from Colton High School. Bob was married to Debra Nolz (Lefever) on April 26, 1980; they were married for 39 years. Bob began working for Clyde's Union Service, 76 gas station in Colton, Oregon, in 1970 at the age of 15. He later took ownership in 2011 and greeted customers and friends for 49 years. He always welcomed his customers with a huge smile and warm greetings. If you wanted to know what was going on in Colton, all you had to do was go to the 76 station and chat with Bob. He was a talented mechanic that offered advice to many over the years. Bob loved camping, skiing, clam digging, crabbing, hunting, speed boats and fast cars. Most of all he loved his family. If you were lucky enough to be one of his many customers you would have often heard stories of his kids and grandkids whom he adored. He had the best jerky recipe around; a recipe only shared with those he trusted most. He loved taking his kids, and later in life his grandkids, to set crawdad traps in the local creeks. He would get a huge kick out of chasing the grandkids around pretending to get them pinched. He loved a good Crawdad feast and hosting a screamin' BBQ! Bob is survived by his wife Debra Nolz; his three children, Christina Amaya-Kluver, Amber Gobet and Mandy Born; his 12 grandchildren; his brothers, Steve Nolz and Greg Nolz; his sisters, Nancy Younger and Debbie Anderson; and his mother Betty Nolz. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Nolz and his brother Davey Nolz. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed beyond measure by many.
