Robert William Hemminger

Obituary for Robert (Bob) William Hemminger Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed peacefully on January 15, 2023. Bob, the son of Eugene Hemminger and Clara Gutbier-Hemminger, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on June 2, 1940. Bob graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1958. Bob enlisted in the United States Navy in September 1958 and served honorably until September 1962. During that time, Bob met Judy Flint-Davis and they were married on November 4, 1961. After Bob completed his military service, he and Judy settled back in Colorado where they raised their family over the next 60 years. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Clara, and his wife, Judy. Bob is survived by his three children, Kevin (Chris), Rob (Annie) and Kellie Clark (Todd); his four grandchildren, Paisley, Briana, Niki and Bryce; and his two great-grandchildren, Bennett and Jaxton. Please join us for a celebration of Bob’s life at Aspen Mortuary (1350 Simms Street, Lakewood, CO) on Monday, February 6th at 12:15 p.m. A viewing and visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. A Military Honors Ceremony will begin at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. After services conclude, please feel free to join us at the Hemminger residence for a reception.
