Alexander Zachery Taylor

Alexander Zachary Taylor, 31, passed away from a car accident. He had attended Greeley West High School and Aims Community College. He was in the process of trying to finish his last year at Aims to receive his Associates Degree. He was a huge fan of Alabama’s college football team; he was religiously dedicated and kept up with their games, Rolltide. He loved Fantasy Baseball and Football, enough so that he came in 2nd place across the country in his Baseball fantasy league. Fantasy Football leagues he made it to the top on multiple occasions. He thoroughly enjoyed watching scary movies with his brother and sisters and had tried to spend as much time as he could with them. He had big plans to move out to Denver and live the life that he wanted and very much so deserved. Many people have met Alexander but only few got to know him. As for the people who did know him, he came out to be something more than they could have ever imagined. He had a big heart, an open mind, and an interesting sense of humor. He loved to learn about all things. Even though he favored history and astronomy the most, he made an effort to retain as much information as he could no matter the subject. With all of that aside, he made a big impact on people. Alexander was very outspoken but only wanted to do good by others. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the amazing chance to meet him and know him. Alexander is survived by his mother, Carmen Barrientos; father, Bruce Taylor; step-father, George Grimaldo; brother, Michael Grimaldo (Christina Roberts); sisters, Tamina Grimaldo, Anita Grimaldo (Zach Goldschmidt) and Gina Grimaldo-Asberg (Jonas Asberg); nephew, Michael Grimaldo Jr.; nieces, Anastasia Grimaldo and Hannah Asberg. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Santiago Barrientos; and grandmother, Constance W. Taylor. A visitation will take place from 1-3 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Mosaic Church, 3451 23rd Avenue, Evans, and services will start at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, Alexander’s family will take any contributions and donations made to the event. He will forever be in our hearts and minds and although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
