Walter Dean Francis, 74, of Evans, passed away September 4, 2016 in hospice care after a long illness. He was born on October 26, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to Irma and Edward Francis. His passion was music, and he loved playing the drums and dancing. A highlight in Dean’s life was playing the drums with a band on a cruise ship. Dean worked for Kodak of Colorado for over 25 years. He is survived by Ruth Francis and son Scott, daughter in-law Stacie, and two grandsons, Zachary and Cole. A sister and two sons preceded him in death. Interment will be a private service at Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont, CO.
