Mementos

It is with remembrance we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy L. Loescher on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Dorothy was born on November 14, 1948 to Paul and Phoebe Emmons in Caldwell, Idaho.

Dorothy loved her three sons Shawn, Shane and Paul. She later married her lifetime love, John Loescher who had two children of his own. Dorothy and John shared 45 years of marriage where they took pleasure in camping, fishing and taking drives to McCall.

Dorothy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed spending time with her animals, watching movies, playing card games with family and friends and later found a love of Bingo while living at Grace Assisted Living at Caldwell.

Dorothy is survived by her children Shawn (Daniella) Alsup, Shane Alsup (Arlene Fugua), Paul (Julie) Alsup and John’s two children; four siblings; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Johann “John” Loescher, her parents and three siblings.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
