Throughout his career, William honed his culinary skills as a chef, a role in which he found profound joy and expression. His culinary journey was marked by dedication and passion, and he celebrated an admirable milestone of ten years of sobriety, which stands as a testament to his resilience and strength.
William's life was enriched with interests in history, reading, politics, coffee, music, animals, and gardening. His love for these areas was infectious, and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and passion with those around him. A member of the Rainer Express Co-op and the Olympia Food Co-op, he was actively engaged in his community, contributing his vibrant energy and insights.
William is survived by his sons, Scott and James Reed, and daughters, Irene and Hannah Reed, all residing in Olympia, Washington. He also leaves behind his brother, Jim Reed of Canton, Ohio, and four beloved grandchildren. William was predeceased by his parents, Bruce & Carol., his brother, Skip Reed and daughter Courtney, mother to Brendan, Gabriel, Rose Finn.
A ceremony to honor William's life will take place on April 20th at 4:20 PM at Lake Quinault, a place that held profound meaning for him and where his family and friends will gather to celebrate his memory.
