Mildred A.  (Lemke) Tomasi, born on April 22, 1932, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, passed away on February 22, 2025, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in W. Brookfield, Massachusetts. She was 92 years old. Mildred was the daughter of the late Walter and Atta (Pittroff) Lemke and the beloved wife of the late Biagio J. Tomasi, with whom she shared years of happiness.  She was a lifelong resident of South Hadley whose family has deep roots in the community.

Throughout her life, Mildred was a vibrant figure known for her spirited love of music. In her younger days, she was fond of driving her MG car, favoring the thrill of speed. Mildred shared her talents with her community by performing in a local band, the Pizzitola Strummers.

Beyond her musical pursuits, Mildred enjoyed ballroom dancing at the Roseland in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She also delighted in fishing and traveling with her husband, and her green thumb was evident in the beautiful flower gardens she cultivated.  Mildred also loved to entertain her family and friends at her home.   Mildred had many bichon frise and poodles over the years and loved them all dearly.

Professionally, Mildred was a respected purchasing agent for Spaulding Corporation, a position she held with dedication and love. Her earlier career was at ACME Chain in accounts payable for many years. She was also a member of the West Chicopee Congregation of Jehovah Witness.
