Leila Meehan passed away February 20, 2025 at the age of 85 in Loveland Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Meehan. She is survived by her daughters Linda (George) Tremblay, Barbara (Dean) Hofelich, Judith (Yoni) Day, five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
After a career at Crowley Maritime in Seattle, they decided to make Ocean Shores their permanent residence. They were very active in the community and loved participating in car shows. Playing at the casino was a favorite past time every afternoon for Leila. She spent many years volunteering at the schools near Ocean Shores. Most of all she loved entertaining her friends.
In 2017 they moved to Colorado to be closer to family due to health issues. She made many new friends and loved to give her puzzles away to everyone. She never liked being idle.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association.
