Charlene R. Suldovsky, age 90, passed away February 16, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. She was born to the late Lewis and Allie Rickenbacker on May 28, 1934, in Carrollton, KY. Charlene worked as a banker/teller in her early years and was a postal clerk manager at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, retiring in 2000.
She moved to Florida in 2005 to be with her daughter’s family and enjoyed the time spent with her granddaughters. She was actively involved in the church and sang in the choir until she was unable to do so. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading, playing Bingo, and watching her daytime soap operas and the Hallmark channel. She had recently become a great-grandmother and loved spending time with her great-grandson.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Francie L. Roderick (husband: Jayson); two granddaughters, Paige Eslava-Cortes (husband: Sebastian) and Brooke Roderick, and a great-grandson, Logan Eslava-Cortes. Charlene was preceded in passing by her husband, Don W. Suldovsky, and siblings Norma R. Durr and William L. Rickenbacker.
Charlene’s wishes were to be cremated where she will remain with her family.
