Thelma Ruth Gore 92 of Ocala, Florida passed away on February 20, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1932, in Franklin, Indiana to Wilbur and Katherine Haymaker.
She graduated from high school and was a seamstress until she married her husband of 63 years James B. Gore and enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. Thelma was a member of Citrus Missionary Baptist Church.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Katherine Haymaker and her sister Carol Rietel.
She is survived by her husband James B. Gore, Ocala, Florida, daughter Amy Roberts, Ocala, Florida, grandsons David Sisler, Jr., San Diego, California, Brent Sisler, Ocala, Florida, Noah (Claire) Roberts, Leesburg, Florida, sisters Janice Mincey, Bargersville, Indiana and Donna Keen, Pavillion, Wyoming.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Ocala Chapel with Pastor Troy Sheppard officiating. A visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Barnes Cemetery, Ocala, Florida.
