Paul Nasrallah, 85, passed away on February 13 after a short illness. Born in Jacksonville, FL, Paul was the second of 6 children. He was raised in Miami, married Joanne Ellis, and moved to Cape May, NJ, after joining the United States Coast Guard in 1958 at the age of 19, where he faithfully served his country for 6 years. Upon his honorable discharge, he moved to Colorado, where he raised 5 sons as a resident of Black Forest for 40 years. He married Alicia Sanford in 2001 and spent 24 happy years together living on a small ranch in Kiowa, CO, and raising a variety of livestock and precious pets.

Paul was an extremely gifted entrepreneur, where he ran multiple businesses under Nasrallah & Sons. He was a car mechanic for 35 years, and a Gunsmith for 60 years. Having inherited his Grandfather’s gifted hands, Paul was an incredible leather crafter, woodworker, and all around amazing mechanic. His creations bless the homes of many friends and family, as he got tremendous satisfaction from gifting his artistic innovations to those he loved. Paul also spent 8 years proudly serving Elbert County on the Sheriffs Volunteer Posse, where he became a beloved member of our community.

Paul’s enthusiasm for life was infectious. It was impossible not to smile and laugh through his larger-than-life personality when he entered a room. His charisma was genuine, and through his generosity of spirit, he constantly gave to those around him, be it his smile, a prayer, some cash, his time or his creations. He was very sensitive to God’s urging to take care of those around him.

Paul was a faith-filled Christian whose belief in God and Jesus led him to a bible college in his younger years as he became a humble disciple of Christ. His bible is well worn and a rainbow of highlights of his favorite scriptures. Many benefited from Paul’s impromptu prayers in the middle of Walmart, when he felt led to pray for someone. “Well done, good and faithful Servant” Matthew 25:23.

Paul is survived by his wife Alicia, his 5 sons: Greg (Polly) Nasrallah, Tommy (Emerson) Nasrallah, John (Michelle) Nasrallah, Gary (Kori) Nasrallah, and Michael (Susie) Nasrallah, 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, plus an adopted daughter Charlotte Frisby and her 3 children. He is also survived by his 3 Sisters, Carol, Barbara, Victoria, and his brother David, and many loving cousins.

Paul’s Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, May 18, at “Once Upon a Time” Event Center, 31242 Wedemeyer Rd, Kiowa, CO, at 3pm.
