Darrel Leroy Olson

Darrel Olson, 71, of Greeley, joined the Lord on September 12, 2017 in Greeley. Darrel was born in Niles, California to Orville and Freda (Most) Olson on October 20, 1945. Darrel married, Oy Phansiri in Boise, ID on November 27, 1991. He loved the outdoors including tennis, bicycling, kayaking, sailing, and horseback riding. Darrel was an intelligent man with a strong mind and a soft heart. He was an inventor, creating and receiving a patent for the "Natural Saddle” in the late 1980’s. Darrel was an avid researcher and enjoyed spending time studying the bible, current affairs, environmental issues, and politics. He traveled to many countries spending time experiencing the cultures and traditions of the areas. Darrel is survived by his wife; special nieces, Janna and Janie Phansiri; and a large loving extended family. Memorial Service will be at 1:00pm on September 15, 2017 at Northern Colorado Crematory.
