Gabriele Gudrun Rielle
December 9th, 1959 - February 15th, 2025
Gabriele Gudrun Rielle's life was a testament to love, laughter, and faith. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will resonate in our hearts forever.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gabriele Gudrun Rielle, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, who departed this world on February 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Gabriele was born on December 9, 1959, in Darmstadt, Germany, to Arno Herbert Bogunski and Gerda Marie (Podschwadek). Throughout her life, she exemplified love, loyalty, and a unique sense of humor that endeared her to all who knew her. Gabriele's journey of life began in Darmstadt, where she met her husband, Dennis Rielle, in February 1982. They married on September 4, 1982, beginning a partnership that would last over four decades. Together, they raised three beautiful children: daughters Rebecca Werts and Yasmin Rielle, and son Alexander Rielle. Gabriele was a devoted mother who cherished every moment spent with her children, including her grandson, Jeremiah Werts, who brought her immense joy. Gabriele was preceded in death by her father, Arno Bogunski (2008), her brother, Jurgen Boge (2009), and her brothersin-law, Paul Rielle (2016) and Donald Rielle (2023). She is survived by her loving mother, Gerda Bogunski; her husband, Dennis; her daughters, Rebecca and Yasmin; her son, Alexander; her grandson, Jeremiah; and her sisters-in-law, Beatrice and Marilyn Rielle. Additionally, she leaves behind her cherished fur babies, Katie and Moose, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. An individual of great character, Gabriele held a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and worked as a security guard; however, she found her true calling as a homemaker. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and her legacy of love and dedication will forever be remembered. Gabriele was an active member of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Tucson, Arizona, where she found solace and joy in her faith. She loved going to church, reading, and taking her beloved fur babies to the park—simple pleasures that brought her immense happiness. A funeral service to honor Gabriele’s life will be held on March 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, located at 2005 S. Houghton Rd, Tucson, AZ 85748. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Foundation for Women's Cancer https://fwctribute.raisely.com/ingabysmemory, Mt. Olive Lutheran Church https://secure.myvanco. com/L-ZMV9/campaign/C-1501Z , or to the PACC, to honor Gabriele’s spirit of giving and her commitment to helping others. Flowers may be sent to 6255 S. Earp Wash Ln, Tucson, AZ 85706, by March 7. Gabriele’s faith and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Pastor Isaac Wirtz will be officiating the service, celebrating the life and love of this extraordinary woman.
