Phyllis Louise Jones, 80, left to be with her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2025. Phyllis was born on June 16, 1944, in Gloucester, MA.
Phyllis married Arthur G. Jones on June 9, 1962, and they had two sons, Arthur G. Jones, Jr and Samuel Scott Jones.
Preceding Phyllis in death is her loving husband, Artie who has been waiting for her since 2007 and her son, Artie in 2002.
Phyllis leaves behind a son, Samuel Scott Jones (wife, Sandra); a granddaughter, Kara Jones; and grandsons Seth Jones, Jeffery Jones and Caleb Jones.
A Sunday School Director for an Assembly of God Church for 25 years in Edwardsville and Maryville, IL, Phyllis was strong in her faith. She was a Guardian ad Litem for eleven years, and she was a member of White Shrine and Eastern.
Phyllis moved to Florida in 1986 where she was a realtor for over 30 years.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg, FL.
A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11am in Heritage Hall at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Hutchinson officiating.
Phyllis will be laid to rest at Sunnyside Cemetery next to her dear husband, Art.
