Larry Jesse Rhoadarmer
July 15th, 1940 - February 13th, 2025
Larry Jesse Rhoadarmer, loving husband and father, went to be with his Savior on February 13, 2025. He was a kind, gentle man who loved his Lord and Savior. He was a friend to many and was known for his kindness and wit.
He was born to Clarence and Marian (Graff) Rhoadarmer on July 15, 1940, in Greeley, Colorado. At the age of 4 his family moved from Pierce, Colorado to a dairy farm southwest of Greeley where he lived for 80 years. He spent most of his life as a dairy farmer until he retired in 1991. After retiring from farming, he enjoyed driving for Ghent Chevrolet Cadillac, welding sculptures and traveling. He especially enjoyed his trips to Ireland, Israel and Hawaii with friends and family.
In 1960 he met the love of his life, Martha (Rodine) Sircy while square dancing at CSU. On April 8, 1962, they were married in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They were blessed with two children, Lori Lynn and Lex Alan and two grandchildren.
Larry was very active in his community. He was on the Weld County Sheriff's Posse. He was a faithful member at First Christian Church and an active member at Resurrection Fellowship in Loveland and most recently City Lights in Greeley. Larry and Rodine were 4-H leaders for Evans Ag 4-H club for over 25 years and then became leaders of Helping Hands 4-H club for nearly 20 more years. Larry was also a board member for Dayspring Christian Academy where his children attended.
In 1977 after their home was destroyed by fire, Larry prayed that God would use their new home for His service. Larry and Rodine welcomed many into their home, including many who needed a place to stay. They were blessed to host over 10 foreign exchange students and enjoyed learning about their culture. They were instrumental in helping many young people on their path to success. Their home was also a place for numerous Bible studies and special gatherings.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Marian Rhoadarmer, his sister Merna Hull and daughter-in-law Angela Rhoadarmer. He is survived by his wife, Rodine of Evans, CO; daughter, Lori Rhoadarmer of Evans, CO; son, Lex Rhoadarmer of Clearwater, KS and grandchildren; Landon Rhoadarmer (fiancé Becca Winsky) of Salina, KS and Lynae Rhoadarmer of Waxahachie, TX; brother-in-law Warren Hull of Gardenville, NV as well as many friends and family.
Celebration of Life Services will be on March 17, 2025, at 11am at Rez Church, 6205 Crossroads Blvd., Loveland, CO. Reception following.
