Donald L Stiles

1945-2025

Don Stiles passed away February 16, 2025 in Parker, CO. Don was born in Berryville, Arkansas in 1945 but from the age of five was raised in Rozel, KS. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He used his GI Bill and worked as a carpenter to put himself through college at Kansas State University where he earned a degree in Biology which eventually led to a job in the Quality Control labs at Coors for 27 years. After graduating from KSU, he and his wife Louetta moved to Colorado to live and enjoy the beauty of Colorado and the many opportunities for outdoor activities, primarily camping, hiking, and archery hunting in the mountains. This love of the outdoors was passed down to his son and ultimately to his grandchildren. Upon his retirement he honed his carpentry skills to build several pieces of furniture for their home, all of which are very heavy! His memory will live on through our memories and stories which we hope will bring a smile to your face. It was his sense of humor that we all loved.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and sisters. Survivors include two brothers, his wife Louetta, his son Brad and his wife Amber, and grandchildren Justin and Aspen.
