Her sisters were Reta and Theresa (Mitsy). She was baptized on November 20, 1928, at St. James Church (St. James Basilica) in Jamestown, North Dakota, and later graduated from Jamestown High School.
In 1947, Patricia married Norman Johnson, and together they had three children: Michael Leonard, Gregory Paul, and Claudia Mary. In Spokane, Patricia attended beautician school and earned her license. The family later relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she pursued a successful career as a beautician and instructor, while Marvin worked at NorWest Gypsum until his retirement in 1982. In 1988, they moved to Mesa, Arizona.
After Marvin’s passing in 2000, Patricia married Richard Spencer in 2001. Richard passed away in 2009. Patricia continued to reside in Mesa until 2019, when she moved to Thornton, Colorado, to live with her son Gregory, where she remained until her passing in 2025.
