Louise Angelina Herrera

Louise Angelina (Rossi) Herrera passed away on February 21, 2025 in Walnut Creek, CA. Louise was born in Oakland, CA on May 23, 1931 to Maria and Eugene Rossi. She was raised in Berkeley, CA and graduated from Berkeley High School.
Louise is survived by her loving husband Edward. They were married for nearly 73 years at the time of her passing. She is also survived by her loving children, Marion MacArthur (Mike) of Concord, CA and Diane Kinakin (Mike) of Tracy, CA; her grandchildren, Anthony MacArthur (Melissa), Gregory MacArthur, Lauren Saia (Erik), and Lindsay Louie (Alex); her great-grandchildren, Aria, Grant, Tarynn, Landon and Leo; and many nieces and nephews.
Louise worked for Breuners Home Furnishings. Upon retirement she enjoyed vacation trips with Ed to the Napa Valley, Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove. Louise enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Her family meals were always tasty and delicious. Louise enjoyed watching sports, especially Bay Area teams. She loved cheering on her grandchildren with gusto, or sitting on the couch, holding Ed’s hand, watching a SF Giants game or a St. Mary’s Gaels basketball game. Louise treasured the time she spent with Ed, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joe Rossi, and her sister Theresa Valcalda.
