June Gladys Hansen, 102, widow of the late Forrest Hansen, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1922, in Lake Benton, Minnesota to the late Dagmar Iverson and Will Cyriack.
Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughters, Debra (Ben) Redmon, Barbara (Steve) York; brother, Clifford (Barbara) Cyriack; grandchildren, Ben Redmon Jr., Adam Redmon, Matthew (Elizabeth) York, Catherine (Clinton) Combs; and great grandchildren, Caroline York, Camden Combs, Theodore York, Collins Combs, and Frederic York.
Besides her husband of over 60 years, and her parents, Mrs. Hansen is preceded in death by her sisters, Cora Krause, Fern Smith; and brother Glenn Cyriack.
June led a long and eventful life enjoying spending time with her family. She was an avid painter, enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing bridge with her many friends.
To celebrate the life of Mrs. June Hansen, a gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 5-7pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A private family graveside service at Lexington Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators (formally Hospice).
