William J. Policy
September 22nd, 1957 - February 17th, 2025
William Joseph Policy, 67, passed away February 17th 2025 in Denver Colorado. He was born in Youngstown Ohio and the family relocated to Colorado in the early '60s.
Surviving family members include brother Ronald, sister Patricia ( Chris), nieces Teresa Doyle (Patrick), Kyleen Peterson ( Matt), nephew Jesse, and 8 grand nieces and nephews. He also considered his fellow veterans his family.
Bill was a decorated US army veteran and served in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was an incredibly talented artist and touched the lives of many with his combination of technical skills,creativity, imagination intelligence and wit. Seriously- he was a funny guy.
He is the author of two books "Bettie Page, Queen of Pinups" and "Pinups by Policy".
A military service will be held at Fort Logan on Friday, March 21st. In lieu of flowers, please support a local art community and veterans.
