Danny Thomas White was called home to be with his Lord on February 14, 2025 . Danny (Dan) was born in Nampa Idaho on June 1, 1943 . He was raised in Homedale and graduated from Homedale High School in 1963 . Dan served in the U.S. Army and was honorable discharged after 2 years. In 1970 he met Vickey and they were married June 17, 1971. Dan enjoyed rockhounding, art, music, classic cars, and loved the Oregon coast. Dan’s strong faith in the Lord was something he was anxious and glad to share with anyone and everyone.  

He was preceded in death by Daniel E. White (son) Elmer and Margaret Haynes, Viva Haynes, Daniel White (grandparents), Orville (Annie) White (uncle), Elner (Floyd) Strickland (aunt), Iris (Forest) Parker (aunt), Wesley and Virginia White (parents), Don and Helen Oestreich (in-laws), Scott White (nephew), Elmer White (brother), Bill Oestreich (brother in-law), Yannis Tarlas (great grandson), Rick and Cathy Rhodes (dear friends). 

He is survived by Vickey (wife), John White (son), Jennifer White (daughter), Maria Truempler (goddaughter), Allen White (brother), Denver White (brother), Carla Oestreich (sister in-law),  Rita (Reg) Montgomery (cousin), many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews: Lindsay, Joey, Danielle, Jacob, Parker, Samantha, Krystal, Krista, Deven, Sophie, Tavia, Jesse, and several great grandchildren. A great number of friends and family in Christ.  

Dan’s kind and patient demeanor, and willingness to make a stranger a friend were some of his greatest gifts. He will be missed and thought of fondly by so many.

There will be a celebration of life at Homedale Assembly 15 W. Montana Ave . (Homedale)  at 11 am March 8, 2025 followed by a graveside service at Terrace Lawn Memorial Garden 4255 E . Fairview Ave . (Boise) at 2 pm.
