Louise Frank Stucki

April 24, 1947 – February 9, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Louise Frank Stucki, who peacefully left us on February 9, 2025, in Bonney Lake, Washington. Born on April 24, 1947, in Logan, Utah, Louise lived a life filled with love, service, and faith.

She is survived by her sister, Diane; her brother, Charles; her three children, Lisa, David, and Troy; and her three grandchildren, Abigail, Lauren, and Madison.

Louise moved with her family to West Seattle at an early age. She attended West Seattle High School and later graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in microbiology. While working at UCLA, she met her husband, Leon G. Stucki, and they married on July 2, 1969, in the Logan Temple. In 1977, they settled in Western Washington, where she lived for the remainder of her days.

During her life, Louise enjoyed gardening, dancing, crafts of all kinds, and playing pickleball. Those who played with her shared, "She may not have been the best, but she was surprisingly good," and she brought energy and her unique humor to the court that kept everyone smiling. For the past two and a half years, Louise was a cherished resident at Wesley, fully embracing community life. She loved participating in activities—trivia nights were her favorite.

Professionally, Louise dedicated many years as a lab technician for Group Health. Her gentle touch and reassuring presence eased the anxieties of countless patients, including her anxious daughter.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Louise served diligently in various capacities and was always ready to offer her time and talents, finding great fulfillment in her service. Her unwavering commitment to her faith enriched the lives of many.

Family was the cornerstone of Louise's life, and she cherished every moment she spent with her loved ones. Her children knew her as a loving mother who lived boldly and honestly, never afraid to share her dry humor or candid words. Her legacy is one of love, honesty, and the reminder that life's truths are best embraced with a smile.

Though she has left our physical world, her spirit lives on in the gardens she tended, the lives she touched, and the hearts she filled with laughter. Rest in peace, Louise—you will be forever loved and never forgotten.
