Robert J O'Neill, age 70 years old resident of Washington Twp, Gloucester County NJ passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, surrounded by his family.
LEGACY
Bob was a loving father of three children and nine grandchildren. Proud veteran of the United States Navy, his love for music dominated his life, he played multiple instruments and played publicly on occasion. He loved his Harley Davidson, shooting his gun collection at Bob's, watching old cowboy movies, gardening, and taking rides to the beach any time of year. He worked as a photographer for Lockheed Martin for over 30 years. He spent any extra time he had going to his grandchildren's football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and dance recitals, his family was his pride and joy. He spoke to his grandchildren frequently to exchange dad jokes.
FAMILY
Beloved husband of Michele for 48 years, devoted father of Ryan J O'Neill, and Kelsey M Hewitt (nee O'Neill) and son in law Matthew Hewitt, and daughter in-law Christine O'Neill he is predeceased by his son Sean R O'Neill. Cherished grandfather of Rylee C O'Neill, Cian J O'Neill, Quinn J O'Neill, Sloane M Hewitt, Teagan R O'Neill, Colin M Hewitt, Aidan S O'Neill, Lennon E Hewitt, and Nora A O'Neill. Precious son of James R and Annette J O'Neill. Dear brother of Timothy O'Neill (Beth), Denis O'Neill, Eileen O'Neill, and predeceased by Kevin O'Neill. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
FAREWELL TRIBUTE
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert’s memorial ceremony on Friday March 7, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Township) located on 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Sewell, NJ 08090.
