Mrs. Susan "Susie" Lynn Hicks, 60, of Archdale passed away on February 27, 2025 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Kingsmore) Hicks and wife of Donald Lemmings.
Susie enjoyed spending time with her family and the beach. Her hobbies included singing and playing games. She loved music and would rather listen to music than watch tv. Susie also had an incredible sense of humor. She really loved her dog, Buddy.
Susie is survived by her loving husband, Donald Lemmings; her grandchildren; her sister, Dee McConnell; her brother, Chris Hicks (Sarah); and her numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn Hicks Sherrill, William Lee Hicks, Jr., Sharon Ann Hicks, Elizabeth Adele Hicks Lindsey, Cynthia Ellen Hicks.
A memorial service celebrating Susie's life will be held at Garrett-Hillcrest Cemetery in Waynesville, NC at a later date.
