Mitchell Wyatt
June 23rd, 1981 - April 11th, 2023
Sarasota, Florida – Mitchell Robert Wyatt passed away suddenly on April 11, 2023, at the age of 41. Originally from Marshfield, Massachusetts, Mitchell moved to Sarasota in 2020 and workedas a freelance writer and tutor from his home in Village Brooke Condos. He graduated from Marshfield High School in Massachusetts and Messiah College in Harrisburg, PA, with a BA in English. In many ways, Mitch was a person that defied definition. He forged his own path in life, embracing a creative outlook and mindset. Mitch was a deeply loyal man, an intellectual, and an academic. Possessing a unique mind, Mitch was a complex individual with a flexible intellect. Mitch was passionate about many things, including gaming. He fell in love with many titles, sharing that love with his siblings and friends. Mitch spent years as a tutor, fostering a love of learning and reading in the students he helped. Most profoundly, Mitch was a passionate writer, spending much of his time completing a staggering number of technical articles and authoring several short stories. More than any of those things, Mitch was a rare, kind, and gentle soul. He will be dearly missed.Mitch leaves his beloved long time partner, Megan, his siblings Randall Wyatt, Michelle Thuma, and Paul Wyatt, and his parents Robert Wyatt of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and Corinne DeGraff of Marshfield, Massachusetts.
