There are some who bring a song so beautiful to the Earth, that even after they are gone, their melody lives on.
Hubert Lester Coffey, 69, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born in Kingsport to the late Ernest and Gladys Coffey. Hubert was an avid musician who taught himself how to play many instruments. He was a beloved uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Wolfe.
Survivors include his nephew, Danny Wolfe and wife Missy; niece, Rebecca Hurni and husband Kevin; great nephew, Zachary Bledsoe and wife Emilie; great nieces, Reagan and Rachael Wolfe; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, March, 6, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Brother Kevin Hurni officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, March 7, 2025 at East Lawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
