In Loving Memory

Wyvonna Alvadean Purvis, 79, widow of Billy Purvis, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1945, in Owingsville, KY to the late Lillian Davis and George Maddox. Mrs. Purvis was a member of Owingsville Baptist Church and worked as a housekeeper.   

Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughters, Anita (Tim) Pendleton, Teresha (James) Moody, Tina (Erik) Smith; grandchildren, Nathan, Andrea, Kevin, Keri, Ally, Aidan; Six great-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.   

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 1pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon crossing, officiated by Nick Sandefur. Visitation will start at 11am until the time of the service. Graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Lexington Cemetery. Casket bearers will be, Kevin Moody, Cayden Moody, Nathan Pendleton, Carl Buckler, Jr., Jose Alcaraz and Connor Buckler, honorary casket bearers are Andrea, Keri, Ally and Aidan.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lexington Humane Society.
