In Loving Memory

The Midlands lost its biggest cheerleader on Saturday.

Nancy Elizabeth Nunn passed peacefully into the next realm on Saturday, March 1 and her family misses her already. Whether cheering her USC Gamecocks or Atlanta Braves on to victory or telling each of us how smart and talented we were, she was steadfast in her support.

She was most proud of her hometown of Olympia, her community at Red Bank Baptist Church and, of course, her vast family. She was everybody’s cousin.

She would tell you how lucky she was to have a great family, but we were the lucky ones. Her enthusiasm was contagious.

She came to every athletic event, potluck, and church function armed with faithful Christian optimism. And we know she is already enjoying her reward with her “Bubbas” Skip, David, and Gary DeLoach. She had a lot of souls waiting on her ascension and we know she will be there to greet each of us in the sweet by-and-by.

Pallbearers are Adam DeLoach, Trey Gallegos, Ayden Gallegos, Justin Faulling, Shandon Metts and Gil Gallegos. Visitation will be at one o’clock and the funeral service will be at two o’clock at Red Bank Baptist Church.

All of us are cheering Nancy on to her new home with Jesus. We hope we loved you well.
