Dalbir Kaur Pahal
August 15th, 1952 - February 17th, 2025
"Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
Dalbir K. Pahal, 72, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. She was born in Bombay, India on August 15, 1952. She married Hoshiar S. Pahal on May 31, 1975 and were married for almost 50 years. Together, they raised two sons, Randeep and Sanjeev Pahal.
As a young girl, she lived in Bombay, India before moving with her parents and siblings to England, where she spent her formative years. Dalbir would spend her young adult life living in Seattle, Washington where she would eventually meet her husband, Hoshiar Pahal. With her husband she would live in Vancouver, Canada and various places in Washington State. Dalbir and Hoshiar raised their two boys in Bremerton, Washington.
While working full-time and raising a family, Dalbir would go on to gain her Associate’s Degree as a Medical Assistant in 1988. She then worked as a medical assistant at an oncology clinic in Bremerton for many years where she was loved by her patients and colleagues.
She had a passion for going on cruises, dancing at weddings, gardening, cooking, and socializing with friends and family. Her laugh was infectious and her extended family’s children would call her “The Cool Auntie.”
Her dedication to her immediate family was second to none and she sacrificed her own happiness to ensure that her children were well-rounded and ready to venture out into the big world. Her and her husband’s love and dedication to their children was shown when they moved from Bremerton, Washington to Lynnwood, Washington to be closer to their sons. A few years later they would purchase a second home, a condo in Mesa, Arizona to have a place to be closer to their youngest son.
She was able to retire at the age of 55 and lived out her final years doing as she pleased. Dalbir loved watching movies, tv series, traveling, happy hours with friends, and helping raise her grand-dogs. You could always find her joking around with kids and new people she met. She chose how she wanted to live out her life and now she will live on in the memories of all those she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Hoshiar Pahal, their two sons, Randy (his wife, Erin Swan) and Sanjeev Pahal (his partner, Hilda Ledesma) along with 8 grand-dogs.
A small private memorial service to celebrate Dalbir's life was held on February 24th.
You will always be in our hearts!
