Brian G. Stevenson
September 30th, 1955 - February 21st, 2025
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Brian Girard Stevenson was born on September 30, 1955 in Seattle. Brian attended Christ the King Grade School, graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School, and took classes at North Seattle Community College. Brian lived in the Seattle area all of his life. He is remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, his excellent memory and story-telling ability, and his lifelong interest in movies, television shows, and music, especially rock music from the 1960’s.
Brian passed away peacefully in Issaquah on February 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis J. and Elizabeth M. Stevenson, and by his aunt, Frances M. Stevenson. Brian will be missed by many, including his brother and sister-in-law, John and LaVern Stevenson, his nieces and nephews and their children, his cousins, and other family members, and by Philip and Rosemary Nduka who took loving care of Brian for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, 322 N. 175th St., Shoreline, WA, with interment to follow at Holyrood Cemetery, 205 N.E. 205th St., Shoreline, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Brian’s name to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, at 14600 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513, or at www.v.org.
