Cora Mae Hislope
December 24th, 1937 - February 28th, 2025
Cora Mae (Henderson) Hislope, 87, wife of Ronald Hislope, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Lexington. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 24, 1937, to the late Leo and Ethel Weddle Henderson. She was a teacher for many years in the Marion County school system before she and Ron retired to Lexington.
She was one of ten children, and is survived by her husband Ronald Hislope, sons, Michael (Johanna) Hislope, both of Lexington, and Ray (Elizabeth) Hislope, of Georgia, grandchildren, Seth Hislope, Sarah Hislope and Caroline Hislope, and her brothers, Clyde, Claude, Jimmy and Joe Henderson.
A memorial service in her memory will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing on Saturday March 8, 2025, at 1pm.
