Wallace Wayne Howton, age 75 passed away on Saturday February 22, 2025 in Greeley, CO. He was born on November 30, 1949 in Sacramento, CA to Archie and Marguerite Howton. 

 

“Wally” as he was known as, was a beloved brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Marguerite Howton (Self), and brother Bill Howton. He is survived by his siblings: Joann Cray, Jim Howton, Bob Howton, Judi Howton, Ardenna Holdaway, twin brother Walter Howton, and Sandra Howton; also his children: Rick Fulton, Eric Billings, Branden Howton, Stacey Nance, Travis Howton and Nick Howton, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and partner Joan Pursley. 

 

Wally was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting with his sons and lifelong friend Danny Kendall. He spent much of his time in Danny’s garage restoring old corvettes. He was a truck driver for many companies over 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, golfing and spending time with all his family. 

He also served in the army for four years. 

 

A Celebration of Life for Wally will be held on Saturday March 15th  at 1pm at Atlas Theater ( 709 16th St, Greeley, CO) .
